About

So what exactly is this blog? Well, it’s the detailed misadventures of my WoW experience.

My History with WoW:

I was always a Warcraft fan, going back to 1996 when I discovered the original Humans and Orcs game. Then that lead to Warcraft II and Warcraft III. I got a Blizzard catalog in the mail that had an ad for the upcoming World of Warcarft. I remember the ad saying “Coming 2002” but years went by and I didn’t give it any thought. Then a few days before WoW was finally released in November of 2004 I saw an ad announcing its release. I went to the store the day it came out and a few days later I was signed up and started playing.

My first character was an Orc Hunter on the Elune server. I got up to lvl 26 in 5 weeks, which by today’s standards is pretty sad. Then I played a Human Mage for a little while, then my main for a year was a Night Elf Druid on Boulderfist. I later went back to the Orc Hunter and leveled up to 60. Then at some point a group of people I knew were going to start alts on Runetotem and play them together on Monday nights. That’s when I created my Orc Rogue. I had created a rogue before but never got above level 14 with him. I enjoyed my new rogue and while the others were only playing on Runetotem occasionally, I began to be play him full time. He became a level 19 twink, then 29, then 39 twink where I got exalted with AB and WSG.

His name is Korrk and now he’s a level 70. I enjoy PVP and just exploring the world. I don’t raid anymore after a long history of bad raid experiences with poorly prepared guilds. I have an itch to Raid again, but am cautious about what kind of raiding guild I’d join.
